Position: Entry Level Machine Operator
Department: Production
Accountable to: Production Supervisor

Our company is seeking candidates who are dependable, team oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced work environment. Success in this position requires candidates to possess good communication skills, a strong attention to detail and a good sense of awareness to their surroundings.

1st Shift – 7:00am – 3:00pm
2nd Shift – 3:00pm – 11:00pm
3rd Shift – 11:00pm – 7:00am

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
  • Operates injection molding machines of cast rubber and plastic products
  • Monitors machine to ensure material feed operation is maintained
  • Manually removes molded product from dies
  • Inspects molds/dies to ensure they are cleared of loose materials before cycling
  • Trims excess material from part using a knife, cutting pliers and scissors
  • Inspects parts for defects using visual and physical examples for reference
  • Counts and records acceptable and defective products on production report form
  • Packages product into the applicable shipping container or box
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Prior experience operating injection molding machinery is a plus
  • Reliable/Dependable
  • Good Communication skills
  • Use of basic hand tools: scissors, cutting pliers and knives
  • Team Oriented
  • Ability to multitask in face-paced work environment

NOTES

Reports to: Shift Supervisor
Rates of Pay: 1st shift = $15.50
2nd shift = $16.25 ($15.50 per hour plus $.75 shift differential)
3rd shift = $16.75 ($15.50 per hour plus $1.25 shift differential)

Position: Quality System Coordinator
Department: Quality
Accountable to: Quality Manager
This position is the cornerstone of our company’s Quality Management System team member and one of the key leaders in ensuring compliance with the company’s quality expectations, while driving continual improvement related to Medical, Industrial, and Regulatory requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

Manage the Quality System to ensure continual improvement, timely and effectively; and assist the Quality Manager with daily, monthly, and annual data evaluation: including, but not limited to the following.

  • Manage and review standards, policies, and procedures on a frequency to ensure the QMS is properly maintained.
  • Assist with the Pre-Production Control Plan / APQP to ensure new/updated projects meet all requirements throughout product realization.
  • Support process owners with creation and updating of Processes, Procedures, Forms, and Work Instructions.
  • Assist with customer claims, Support issues, and Corrective/Preventive Actions.
  • Communicate with suppliers and customers regarding; complaints, deviation requests, PPAP documents, on-site visits/audits, and/or documentation audits.
  • Manage internal audit schedule, assign audits to internal auditors, review findings and schedule meetings as required
  • Assist with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016 Certification and Surveillance audits.
  • Manage documents and assist with customer and supplier audits.
  • Manage and follow up closures throughout the (NCMR) process.
  • Analyze data, create reports, and communicate feedback to the management team
  • Provide support to our manufacturing team, vendors, and quality team regarding quality and customer service issues.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skill, including collaboration with team members
  • Assist the QM with new and/or update documents to sustain the QMS
  • SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Minimal (Lead and instruct internal auditors and process owners to ensure sustainment of the QMS).
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

  • Able to lead the internal auditors to successfully sustain an audit schedule to meet standards.

  • Daily utilization of MS Excel formulation of data for reporting; efficiency with charts and graphs
  • Knowledge of PPAP at all levels to support the Engineering team.
  • Knowledge of Quality Core Tools to support the Engineering team with PPAP preparation and submission.

Position: Maintenance Mechanic
Department: Maintenance
Accountable to: Maintenance Supervisor
Jefferson Rubber Works is seeking an individual who is dependable, with excellent mechanical ability, can work independently, has great communication skills and understands the importance of being a team player. Success in this position requires attention to detail when performing tasks and placing top priority on identifying, correcting and reporting all safety risks that are encountered.

As an Industrial Mechanic, you need several soft skills to go along with your technical competencies. Independence, dependability and trustworthiness are all valued because of the level of autonomy and importance in the work that you do. You will be relied on to make good decisions and to work efficiently when installing or repairing equipment. Attention to detail also is important when installing or repairing machines, especially given safety risks. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
  • Maintains and repairs rubber, plastic and LIM injection molding machinery, chillers and heating units to ensure they are always in proper, working order.
  • Tests and observes equipment and machinery using tools such as voltmeters and other testing devices to diagnose malfunctions and make repairs as needed.
  • Inspects machinery and equipment on a regular basis and submits appropriate documentation of results and work order resolutions
  • Uses schematics and diagrams for troubleshooting electrical and hydraulic systems.
  • Follows industry best practices, SOPs, LO-TO procedures, and other safety guidelines and requirements.
  • Orders or requests orders to be placed to replenish materials and parts when inventory grows low or is depleted.
QUALIFICATIONS

Education Level: High school diploma or GED
Experience: 2 or more years as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic.
Skills:

  • Strong understanding of electrical and hydraulics systems.
  • Self-starter and motivated individual who is able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Capable of using hand, power and specialized tools.
  • Operation of electric forklifts.
  • Basic Computer Skills

Physical Ability: Caple of lifting and carrying up to 50lbs.
